Duties and Role
• Design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise network infrastructure aligned with CCNP-level best practices and
standards.
• Manage daily network operations, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle activities across enterprise environments.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and STP.
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and performance of LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
• Monitor network health using Splunk and other monitoring platforms; create dashboards, alerts, and operational reports.
• Analyze logs and telemetry data to proactively identify risks, incidents, and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions using Python or Ansible to streamline provisioning, compliance, and repetitive tasks.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation of configuration management, backups, and change validation.
• Utilize network monitoring tools to track availability, latency, bandwidth, and device health.
• Lead incident response for critical outages, coordinate stakeholders, and restore services within SLA targets.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex network issues and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
• Lead network projects such as migrations, refreshes, expansions, and technology rollouts.
• Maintain accurate documentation, standards, and operational procedures for the network environment.
