Duties & Role:

  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver internal and external events, including workshops, conferences, and official engagements.
  • Manage all event logistics, including venue coordination, scheduling, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop event communication plans to ensure effective promotion, participation, and coverage.
  • Support on-site event delivery, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any issues as they arise.
  • Evaluate event outcomes and prepare post-event reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage and consolidate customer and stakeholder feedback received through multiple channels, including events.
  • Analyse feedback and engagement trends to provide recommendations for improving communication effectiveness and stakeholder experience.
  • Coordinate with internal and external departments to implement improvements based on feedback.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on communication and event performance for senior management.
  • Provide guidance to staff on handling feedback and stakeholder interactions in a consistent and professional manner.
  • Support Senior Management in developing and implementing effective communication strategies.
  • Assist in communicating key messages and strategic priorities to internal and external audiences.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate communications across all channels.
  • Lead and manage key communication and event-related projects and initiatives.
  • Plan and oversee the design, content, and production of communication and marketing materials to support events and broader initiatives.
  • Manage internal communications, including memos, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and distribute communication materials.
  • Ensure all communications are aligned with organizational branding and messaging.
  • Build and maintain the organization's image and media library, including event coverage.
  • Manage and update the Chief's blog with relevant communications and event highlights.
  • Work closely with the IKM Officer to ensure SharePoint content is accurate, current, and engaging.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partner entities to generate innovative communication and event strategies.

Requirements

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

  • The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
  • A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and up to 1 year post-related experience;
  • Experience in communications and/or event management.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver events effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
  • Ability to develop and deliver communication activities across multiple channels.
  • Analytical skills to assess feedback and improve outcomes.
  • Ability to produce clear reports and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
  • Professional, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Extensive working experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) toolsets
