Country Visions Cooperative is looking to hire a full-time Store Manager for our Manitowoc Rapids convenience store. This person will supervise and manage all functions of the store in cooperation with the C-Store Division Manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage all in-store functions, including the in-store Subway
- Recruit, Interview and train all new hires
- Maintain a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and collaboration
- Assist and instruct team members with daily store operations
- Help ensure customer satisfaction and retainment
- Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
- Develop retail sales growth, largely through outstanding customer service
- Order and price store merchandise following proper procedures as directed by the C-Store Division Manager
- Complete accurate and timely completion of all assigned accounting reports and forms
- Ensure all precautionary procedures with respect to the protection of team members and company assets are adhered to
- Set written goals annually with the C-Store Division Manager
- Assist in implementing marketing and merchandising promotions
- Develop sales-generating displays
- Attend training sessions as required
- Manage all team members, including having disciplinary and termination discussions
- Follow all company policies and procedures, adheres to uniform guidelines and complies with appearance and hygiene standards
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management
HOURS
- Mainly day shift hours with variable shifts and some flexibility – will be discussed during the interview
- Must be available for opening and closing shifts, including some weekends
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry
- A minimum of 1 year of proven management experience
- Proven track record of building sales, increasing profits, team member development, and operational improvement
- Effectively manage confidential and sensitive information
- Accurate, confident and dependable
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly, energetic and strong people skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- The candidate must successfully pass a background check
