Our client is a leader in the field of intelligent transportation systems, dedicated to enhancing road safety, accessibility, and efficiency through innovative infrastructure. By integrating advanced hardware with cutting-edge software and data analytics, we develop solutions that empower cities to create smarter, safer, and more sustainable transportation networks.

As part of this project, the team will develop firmware from scratch for a new Linux-based device. The device will serve a dual purpose: acting as a Control Unit for pedestrian infrastructure at intersections and as an IoT Gateway responsible for collecting data from other devices at the same intersection and managing their configuration and updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in C++ development
• Experience in Linux OS development
• Strong teamwork and ability to follow technical standards
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Strong written and spoken English

Nice to have (optional):

• Experience with Yocto Linux
• Experience with iMX9 or similar ARM-based platforms
• Experience working on embedded projects or IoT devices
• Understanding of networking protocols
