Job Description

We are looking for a junior C# software developer to join our dynamic and unique core technology ATE SW team.

SolarEdge's ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) group is at the forefront of developing high-volume production line hardware-based testers for end-of-line product assembly.

Our testers are developed in-house, encompassing hardware, mechanics, and software, ensuring top-notch quality and performance.

**What You'll Do**

Responsible for the entire development process, from gathering requirements to implementation, including post-release support.

Develop, test, and maintain C# .NET applications using .NET framework, .NET Core and ASP.NET.

Work closely with the Hardware team on joint projects.

Develop software for automated hardware tests, drivers, and communication protocols.

Use AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) as part of the day-to-day development workflow.

Contribute to new projects and provide support for existing ones.

Assist in resolving production issues and analyzing failures.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with .NET frameworks in C#.
• Experience in instrumentation programming, software debugging, integration, and testing.
• Able to manage various tasks with careful attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as XUnit or NUnit.
• Basic familiarity with AI/LLM tools and willingness to apply them to development and testing tasks.
