Job Description

As a C++ Software Developer at DEXIS in Mechelen, you’ll contribute to the DTX Studio suite: a cutting-edge, AI-enhanced platform that serves as the central imaging hub for dental professionals worldwide. Your role focuses on deep problem-solving, not just superficial coding, and spans the entire end-to-end product development lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

  • Extending general functionality, new 2D or 3D visualizations or implementing a defined image processing or AI algorithm.
  • Technical design and implementation of our frontend applications. This includes writing code, performing code review, writing and executing unit testing amongst others.
  • Monitor and control code quality This includes ensuring correct code review, decent unit tests, continuous integration and follow-up of coding guidelines amongst others.
  • Detect, treat and solve issues, communicate and educate solution to the team.
  • Assist in 3rd Level support cases and support with software testing.

Job Requirements:

  • Master degree in Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in development of high quality software solutions within an existing large framework.
  • Good knowledge of relevant programming languages and supporting frameworks (C++, Qt, QML, ...).
  • Knowledge on 3D Rendering (OpenGL, Vulkan, ...) is an asset.
  • Open and good communicator.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
