You will be the Level 4 Structural Technician for the Contract Field team which is responsible for supporting C-130J aircraft modification, upgrade, and overhaul operations worldwide. This position requires frequent domestic and international travel (95%).
What You Will Be Doing
As the C-130J Structural Technician (T4) you will be responsible for delivering depot‑level maintenance and technical support for the C‑130J platform. You will modify, upgrade, and overhaul Customer aircraft utilizing technical data, blue prints, drawings, Time Compliance Technical Orders, support equipment, and industry standard structural tooling, jigs, templates, and fixtures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform Depot‑Level maintenance, modification, upgrade, and overhaul of C‑130J structural components.
- Provide technical assistance to personnel for assembly, operation, service repair, and modification of aircraft equipment.
- Investigate, advise on, and report the disposition of equipment difficulties encountered in the field.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, respecting cultural differences at host locations during frequent domestic and international travel.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Candidate must also have current active US Passport.
Physical Requirements:
This position may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
- Must have a minimum of 4-6 years Structural experience on C-130J or like heavy or fighter aircraft.
- Experienced in structural modification, upgrades, and overhaul in a Contract Field Team or Depot maintenance environment, or similiar like responsibilities in a field envrionment.
- Experienced in modifying, upgrading, overhauling, repairing and replacing C-130J structural components.
- Ability to read and employ schematics, drawings, blueprints, and other technical data.
- Familiarization with C-130J Technical Data and Job Guides
- Ability and desire to travel 90-95% of the year
-Ability to obtain and maintain USGOV Passport supporting potential future international support requirements
-Final Secret Security Clearance
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the other candidates:
- 7-10 years experience on C-130J performing current relevant Customer desired modifications.
- A&P License/Certification
- Military Aircraft Maintenance Experience
-Military Service Experience
-Experience executing or installing Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $33.37 - $61.92
