As a Private Equity, Credit Fund, Real Estate Manager you will support client tax compliance work within our Tax Services practice, reviewing financial data, preparing tax filings, and validating adherence to tax laws and regulations for private equity, credit fund, and real estate clients. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior staff, manage client account workstreams, and apply sound judgment to complex issues while maintaining focus on quality, timelines, and business needs. In this role at PwC, you will oversee assigned deliverables, help identify process improvements, use technology to improve delivery, and contribute to a collaborative environment within PwC Acceleration Center India.

Responsibilities

• Leading tax compliance workstreams for private equity, credit fund, and real estate clients
• Reviewing financial data, tax returns, and supporting schedules to validate accuracy and completeness
• Managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple client engagements
• Coaching team members on tax research, return preparation, and regulatory filing requirements
• Analyzing complex tax issues and identifying connections across fund structures and transactions
• Overseeing preparation of tax documents and regulatory submissions for client reporting cycles
• Applying accounting practices, tax accounting, and financial statement analysis to client work
• Identifying process improvements and using digital tools and AI-enabled workflows to enhance delivery
• Communicating technical findings and filing status to client stakeholders and internal leaders
• Upholding professional and technical standards, firm policies, and independence requirements

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
• At least 7 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• In Tax, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director roles prefer candidates who hold an active primary credential, such as one of the following: (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body (3) a firm-approved secondary credential
• Managing private equity, credit fund, or real estate tax compliance
• Leading client service workstreams across multiple tax filings
• Coaching teams through tax research, drafting, and review cycles
• Applying tax technology and digital tooling in delivery
• Navigating client issues, deadlines, and changing priorities
