You will be responsible for

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:

  • Creating and implementing category strategy , and continuously tracking performance.

Range management:

  • Guaranteeing the category has a long term customer led plan, driving loyalty and have a great quality range which gives the customer a reason to shop with us across all formats;
  • Managing seasonal range and active participation in product developments and
  • Managing annual range and category reviews based on insight tools and analysis, which help to understand the issues and opportunities.

Supplier management:

  • Optimizing suppliers performance and driving efficiency for business.
  • Managing supplier contracts and follow the implementation, Demonstrating a proactive cooperation and availability with the suppliers.

Promotion and price:

  • Planning and evaluating prices and promotions according the compliance, focusing on promo efficiency. Achieving the targeted price index (not valid for Sourcing Buying Manager excl Produce)
  • Monitoring competition, market and regular store and website visits.
  • Actively using analysis, tracking and presenting results.
  • Working closely together with co-departments to improve efficiency in all levels.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc commercial tasks and actively participating in projects.


You will need

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • University education
  • Upper-intermediate level of English language
  • 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Exposure to buying areas is an advantage
  • Experience in a multinational environment preferred
  • Customer focused mindset
  • Analytical mindset
  • Effective solution-oriented
  • Basic leadership skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
