Job Description

We are currently looking for a Buyer Spare Parts to join our Spare Parts team in Gdańsk, responsible for managing supply chain and logistics processes from our warehouse in Hamburg and ensuring timely delivery on board.

Within Gdańsk, Spare Parts team plays a key role in handling end-to-end supply chain operations.

Globally, the team ensures high-quality service through strong personal commitment and a clear focus on meeting customer expectations.

  • Responsibility and authorization to create and adjust purchase orders based on correct original information and within agreed limit ranges.
  • Responsibility and authorization to create vendor and material master data based on authorized information.
  • Order data reconciliation in the relevant systems (SAP MM, Zycus, Sertica) as well as tracking of delivery dates as well as responsibility for punctuality.
  • Responsible for complete incoming goods notifications in the systems as well as clarification of discrepancies between purchase order and invoice in the context of invoice processing.
  • You have at least 3+ years of practical experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (especially excel and PowerPoint) is necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and flexible is nothing new to you.
  • You have strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
  • You communicate very well in English (written and spoken).
  • You have degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering or a related field is a plus.
