The Role
To purchase goods and services from suppliers by creating and releasing purchase orders, administrate order acknowledgements/confirmations and follow up and track deliveries. Ensure contract compliance with, and use of global/regional/country/local contracts.
Key Performance Areas
• Create and release purchase orders.
• Administration of order acknowledgements/confirmations including follow up and to take actions on deviations from purchase orders.
• Give purchasing support to internal users. Identify, prepare and propose sourcing activities. Onboarding (evaluation and approval) of suppliers.
• Ensure contract compliance with, and use of, global/regional/countrylocal contracts within area of responsibility.
Profile Required
• Degree/diploma in Supply Chain
• 3 - 5 years’ experience within a buying-related role.
• Knowledge of the procurement procedures.
• Must have planning and analytical skills.
• Leadership experience
• Must have a driver’s license.
