We are looking for a talented Buyer, Procurement Operations (Raw & Packaging Materials) to join us. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective monitoring and follow-up of purchase orders to avoid any disruption to the production plan.
  • Manage the full procurement process from requisition to payment while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure supply continuity, improve performance, and resolve issues.
  • Identify and participate in cost optimization and value creation initiatives within procurement operations.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Lead of raw and packaging material, supply Planning, Quality, Finance, and Production teams to guarantee material availability and balanced inventory levels.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and compliance.
  • Follow up on supplier claims and ensure timely resolution of any issues

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a similar role (Pharmaceutical raw material procurement)

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its procurement dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP (MM module) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of international trade rules, Incoterms, and transport regulations.
  • Ability to prepare and consolidate procurement performance reports.
  • Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
