To manage the availability of material through the proper material master data setup, vendor capacity planning and purchase order management with internal and external suppliers and mitigate in case of supply risks and issues.
Your role:
Performs inventory analysis, manages SCM master data setup and maintenance, and keeps tools and SAP systems updated based on vendor confirmations.
Executes product lifecycle forecasting, communicates forecasts and orders with suppliers, validates and tracks order confirmations, and participates in tier meetings to provide item status updates.
Places and monitors supplier orders, ensuring alignment on delivery time, quality, and price; expedites orders as needed and manages return orders to suppliers.
Identifies material shortage risks, takes proactive action to mitigate them, and escalates issues when necessary to ensure material availability.
Works on eliminating root causes of availability issues to improve overall supply chain reliability and performance.
You're the right fit if:
Vocational education and specialized training in purchasing or inventory management, or equivalent job experience in a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of related experience, or 3 years if holding a Bachelor’s degree.
For maintenance spare part and services procurement, a technical education required
Minimal technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
