We are looking for you to join our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity in full-time (38,5h/week)!

Your new job includes

As a Leather Goods Buyer, you will foster long-term partnerships with the suppliers and brands you support and ensure market-driven product ranges and optimal conditions to delight our customers.
In particular, you will

• be responsible for a portfolio of national and international brands in the Leather Goods sector
• negotiate terms, pricing, and distribution rights for the respective brands with our suppliers, thereby ensuring cooperative and long-term supplier relationships
• evaluate and optimize existing supplier structures in terms of costs, quality, and performance, and be responsible for the strategic development of your supplier portfolio
• travel nationally and internationally, carry out store checks, and regularly visit relevant trade fairs and your suppliers

Preferred Profile

• A successfully completed degree in economics or commercial training with several years of professional experience in purchasing in a similar role, as well as diverse knowledge and experience in the fashion industry.
• A holistic view of your area, brands, prices, and a keen sense of trends and styles, which you use to consistently pursue your negotiation goals.
• An analytical and strategic mindset and a positive attitude to achieve your goals and find collaborative solutions
• Business fluent written and spoken German and English, as well as knowledge of another foreign language, are an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office and ideally SAP
• An open-minded personality who finds it easy to build a close network with suppliers and internal interfaces
