Senior Buyer Sweden and Industrial Region E&A Category Lead
As Senior Buyer for Sweden, you will execute operational purchasing of IDM&S to support country/factories in Sweden. You will work closely with the internal stakeholders and execute local purchasing activities such as implementing contracts, agreements, and new processes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive category strategies by identifying synergies, unlocking cost savings, and partnering with the business to meet ambitious targets.
Lead sourcing initiatives across strategic, tactical, and operational levels—locally and globally—and ensure smooth implementation in operational units.
Manage suppliers effectively through strong negotiations, contract management, and proactive SRM focused on risk, sustainability, and long‑term performance.
Strengthen the supplier base by ensuring capacity, standardized contracts, competitive models, and efficient request‑to‑order processes.
Optimize procurement processes by driving P2P improvements and engaging stakeholders through clear communication and alignment throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
Requirements
Solid procurement experience with 5+ years in purchasing, ideally including indirect categories.
Relevant academic background such as engineering, purchasing, economics, or a similar field.
Strong project & stakeholder skills with proven success leading cross‑functional initiatives in an international environment.
Excellent communication & negotiation in Swedish and English, including experience drafting and negotiating agreements.
Business‑driven and structured with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver results, and work effectively with local and global teams; SAP/Ariba/M3 knowledge and strong understanding of the Swedish market are beneficial.

The position will be based in Katrineholm at SKF Mekan, Sweden. You will report to Malin Jönsson, IDM&S Operations Manager in Sweden.
