To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Guadalajara, North Campus

Reporting to the Materials Manager, the Buyer Direct position involves being responsible for coordinating activities related to the acquisition of direct materials, components, and equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Reviews execution orders and MRP output.
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain information about products or services, such as pricing, availability, and delivery lead times.
• Determines the procurement method, such as direct purchase.
• Places orders, reschedules, and cancels material based on requests and planning results.
• Manages supplier compliance with price, delivery, and quality expectations and escalates when necessary.
• Approval and follow up of invoices for payment.
• Expedites the delivery of goods to users.
• Analyzes inventory levels. Prepares accountability reports for excess and obsolete inventory.
• Interacts with suppliers to ensure both delivery and the best market price.
• Make tactical purchasing decisions and execute corporate sourcing programs as well as purchasing of high‑value parts.
• Conducts quarterly supplier reviews.
• Maintains purchasing records, reports, and metrics.
• Follows up from purchase order placement through payment to the supplier and receipt of material in the system.
• Coordinates with the warehouse to resolve any receiving issues.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree completed in related field.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing (desirable).
• Good English communication.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, logistics or position with similar activities.
• Previous experience working with MRP systems.
• Strong demand analysis skills to identify increase or decrease.
