As a Buyer – Commodities Cereals & Grains at Nestlé Global Procurement, your mission is to support the implementation of the category strategy on a regional & global level as required and focusing on the efficient use of strategic sourcing tools and processes to maximize compliance and efficiency. We operate on a truly global scale, bringing together over 40 nationalities across three dynamic hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia. How you’ll make an impact as a Buyer – Commodities Cereals & Grains

  • Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Responsible Sourcing Standard, Corporate Business. Principles, policies and standards.
  • Support the category team with data analysis and KPIs.
  • Ensure effective contract management for the category and for your own spend.
  • Supporting contract negotiations with the preparation of the relevant data.
  • Prepare and support negotiation events as approved by the category Procurement Managers.
  • Negotiate optimal contracts within your own spend, lead supplier relationships and manage stakeholders across Asia and Europe.

What will make you successful

  • University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, International Trade.
  • Previous experience within Procurement.
  • Proven expertise in risk management, responsible sourcing and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization and outside the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
