Job Purpose

American Honda Finance Corporation is currently seeking a Credit Buyer.

As a Credit Buyer, you play the critical role of analyzing credit data and financial information for people or companies that are applying for credit. You extend credit terms to applications according to the credit policy while building and maintaining positive dealer relationships.

Key Accountabilities

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Make credit decisions
  • Maintain dealer relations, make timely call-backs
  • Assist in management and development of the Discounting Department

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • BA/BS degree required in business administration or other business-related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in external retail consumer lending and collections; a background in general auto finance/dealer finance; and a working knowledge of the Truth in Lending Act is preferred
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
  • Weekend work is required

Total Rewards:

  • Competitive Base Salary: $55,700.00 - $83,600.00
