About the Role

Join Stryker's Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring materials are available to support production and customer demand. This position is responsible for tactical purchasing activities across an assigned supplier portfolio, balancing demand, inventory, supplier capacity, and operational priorities to support production plans, inventory targets, and service levels in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

• Manage tactical purchasing activities for an assigned supplier portfolio to maintain material availability and support customer service objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers to understand planning processes, capacity constraints, and supply capabilities while aligning them with business requirements.
• Develop and execute supply plans that support production schedules, inventory targets, and launch plans.
• Monitor and communicate key performance indicators including inventory levels, receipts, purchase price variance projections, and supplier performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate system data, including lead times, minimum order quantities, order multiples, safety stock levels, and delivery schedules.
• Expedite or adjust purchase orders as required to ensure material availability while meeting inventory objectives and minimizing excess stock.
• Escalate supply constraints, shortages, and product availability risks with appropriate lead times and drive resolution plans with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Sourcing teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and supplier performance goals, including on-time and in-full delivery targets.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Materials Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, or Materials Management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Minimum B2 level English proficiency.
• Experience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS certification or related Supply Chain certification.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements applicable to manufacturing operations.
