【Division and Products】

Valeo Japan is composed of four divisions:

　１）Power Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions related to thermal management, comfort, and electric powertrains to accelerate electrification.

　２）Brain Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions to accelerate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and reimagine interior experiences.

　３）Light Division ： Designs, develops, and manufactures products and solutions for lighting everywhere.

　４）Valeo Service Division ： Provides after-sales services for all products from Divisions 1-3.

This position is within the Light Division.

【仕事内容】

当社の購買部門にて、材料コスト削減やサプライヤーマネジメントを中心とした購買業務を担当いただきます。

事業部門やグローバル購買組織と連携しながら、コスト競争力向上に向けた調達戦略の立案・実行、サプライヤーとの価格交渉、改善活動の推進をお任せします。

【Responsibilities】

As a member of the Purchasing team, you will be responsible for driving material cost reduction initiatives, supplier management, and procurement improvement activities.

Working closely with internal business divisions and global purchasing organizations, you will lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and productivity improvement projects to enhance cost competitiveness.

• 材料費削減に向けた技術改善・調達先変更・物流改善などの生産性向上施策の企画および実行
• サプライヤーとの価格交渉、コスト改善活動の推進
• グローバル購買組織や関連部門と連携した購買目標達成への取り組み
• サプライヤーとの関係構築およびパフォーマンス管理
• 新規調達先の検討、サプライヤー選定および導入支援
• 購買予算の策定およびコスト改善計画の立案
• コスト変動や供給リスクに対する改善・対応策の実行
• 購入部品に関する物流プロセスおよび供給体制の管理
• 社内購買基準、認証制度、購買システム、各種プロセスの遵守・展開

【Key Responsibilities】

• Define and implement material productivity initiatives, including technical improvements, resourcing activities, and logistics optimization
• Lead supplier negotiations and cost reduction activities to achieve purchasing targets
• Collaborate with global commodity teams and internal stakeholders to meet sourcing objectives
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Support supplier selection and onboarding processes for new sourcing opportunities
• Develop purchasing budgets and cost improvement plans in cooperation with internal teams
• Implement mitigation plans to address cost fluctuations and supply risks
• Ensure proper logistics processes and supply chain coverage for purchased components
• Apply and promote internal purchasing standards, procedures, certification requirements, and procurement systems

• 購買/調達業務の経験
• 価格交渉、納期調整、サプライヤー折衝などの経験
• 社内外関係者との調整・交渉経験
• 日本語：ビジネスレベル～ネイティブレベル
• 英語：日常会話レベル～
• ※自動車業界以外（機械、食品、製造業など）の購買経験者も歓迎します。

【Requirements】

• Experience in purchasing or procurement operations
• Experience in price negotiation, supplier communication, and delivery coordination
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with internal and external partners
• Japanese language: Business to native level
• English language: Conversational～　※Candidates with purchasing experience from other industries, such as machinery, food, or general manufacturing, are also welcome.
