Buying & Product Development

  Source and develop fashion accessories, gift ware, beauty tools, and lifestyle products aligned with seasonal trends.
• 
  Build commercially successful product ranges for various retail channels.
• 
  Identify new product opportunities through trend forecasting and market analysis.
• 
  Manage supplier relationships, with a strong focus on overseas sourcing.
• 
  Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and delivery time lines.
• 
  Monitor the product development critical path to ensure on-time delivery.
• 
  Analyse sales performance and implement repeat orders, promotions, or markdown strategies where required.
• 
  Ensure products meet quality, costing, and retailer requirements.

Design & Visual Communication

• 
  Produce accurate product CADs and technical mock-ups using Adobe Illustrator.
• 
  Design packaging artwork including hang tags, header cards, blister packs, and labels.
• 
  Develop presentations, catalogues, lookbooks, and other marketing collateral.
• 
  Maintain brand consistency across all product categories and visual communications.
• 
  Prepare product and concept presentations for internal stakeholders and retail customers.

Trend & Market Research

• 
  Research international and local fashion trends, colours, materials, and competitor activity.
• 
  Translate seasonal trends into commercially viable product collections.
• 
  Develop mood boards, colour palettes, and range concepts.
• 
  Present new product ideas and seasonal collections to management and retail buyers.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 
  Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail buying, product development, or fashion merchandising.
• 
  Experience within fashion accessories, beauty, giftware, or related retail sectors will be advantageous.
• 
  Proven experience working with international suppliers, particularly Chinese manufacturers.
• 
  Strong understanding of importing, costing, supplier negotiations, and product development time lines.
• 
  Excellent commercial awareness and trend forecasting ability.
• 
  Strong presentation, communication, and organisational skills.
• 
  Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.

Technical Skills
