Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your **procurement and supplier management** expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a **collaborative and results-driven** team.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and success of supplier selection and management processes. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with internal teams across various functions (e.g., engineering, quality, and operations), **coordinate supplier negotiations**, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of **supplier selection, performance monitoring, and supplier relationship management**, but also **support commodity strategy development and ensure compliance with Alstom’s ethical standards**.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparing and launching Requests for Quotations with suppliers
Leading project negotiations and presenting business awards
Promoting and adhering to Alstom’s Code of Ethics
Coordinating projects with internal teams and stakeholders
Securing on-time delivery and quality during project ramp-up phases
Actively supporting the development of commodity strategies and supplier panels
Representing commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions
Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
Assessing supplier risks and implementing mitigation plans
Monitoring supplier performance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) engagements
Applying Alstom procurement processes and providing feedback for continuous improvement

Confirmed experience as a buyer in an industrial context

Proficiency in French and English
Familiarity with SAP MM
