Job Description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Snowflake is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented strategic Buyer to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be a key player in managing a diverse portfolio of indirect spend and end-to-end lifecycle of our Professional Services, Marketing Categories. You will partner closely with stakeholders in Marketing, GTM, and Legal to execute strategic sourcing events, negotiate complex contracts, and ensure we are maximizing value while minimizing risk.

This is a unique opportunity to help scale our procurement operations as we continue to grow, utilizing best-in-class tools like Zip, Workday, and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiation & Contracting:Assist with commercial negotiations for MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, Events and Order Forms. Partner with Legal, Security, and TPRM teams to ensure all contracts meet Snowflake’s risk standards.

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to internal Business Owners, helping them navigate the procurement process (Zip / Workday) and providing market intelligence to inform their buying decisions.

  • Process Optimization: Drive efficiency in the Source-to-Pay (S2P) process, ensuring accurate PO creation in Workday and timely vendor onboarding.

  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Monitor vendor performance and manage renewals proactively (90-120 days out) to avoid service disruptions and late fees.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze spend data to identify consolidation opportunities, shadow IT, and cost-saving initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 1-3 + years of experience in Global Procurement, with an understanding end to end Source-to-Pay life cycle and specifically focused on Software and SaaS categories in a global corporate environment.

  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Zip (Intake-to-Procure) and Workday (ERP) is highly preferred. Familiarity with ServiceNow and Ironclad is a plus.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels (including US-based leadership).

  • Project Management: Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent requests in a fast-paced, "hyper-growth" environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in the Tech/Cloud industry.

  • A "customer-service" mindset—committed to making the procurement process seamless for our internal teams.
