Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your sourcing and supplier management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in managing supplier relationships and supporting commodity strategies that drive innovation and efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (projects, platforms, and solutions teams), coordinate sourcing projects with various stakeholders, and ensure the successful implementation of the Alstom sourcing process.
You’ll specifically take care of supplier performance monitoring and project negotiations, but also contribute to commodity strategy development and tender phase support.
We’ll look to you for:
Supporting global supplier panel relationships
Managing specific supplier panel relationships, including negotiations and performance monitoring
Resolving initial supplier issues before escalating to line management
Consolidating commodity needs and actively participating in commodity strategy development
Providing inputs to build differentiation and supporting Commodity Managers during tender phases
Representing commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions
Applying the Alstom sourcing process and sharing return on experience
Coordinating projects with all relevant stakeholders
Leading project negotiations and monitoring project QCDT (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Time) and legal evolution
Preparing Business Awards and ensuring work package sheet commitment respect
Promoting and adhering to the Alstom Code of Ethics

Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
4-5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement
Knowledgeable in ERP material management (master data, purchase orders management, etc.)
Strong ability to handle multiple topics quickly and effectively
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Result-driven mindset with a focus on critical issues
Experience in remote and multicultural management
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Fluency in English (advanced level)
