Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your sourcing and procurement expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented teammates.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery and quality of procurement projects, driving cost efficiencies, and fostering strong supplier relationships. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Global and Regional Procurement, Platform and Project teams, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and Engineering, to align on project objectives and deliverables, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of setting up the full supplier selection process, including preparing and launching Requests for Quotations and leading project negotiations, but also supporting the development and deployment of commodity strategies.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparing and launching Requests for Quotations with suppliers
Leading project negotiations
Monitoring procurement project Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) objectives
Coordinating projects with cross-functional teams
Ensuring on-time delivery and quality, especially during ramp-up phases
Supporting and contributing to commodity strategy and supplier panel management
Managing supplier relationships and performance, including risk assessment and mitigation
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

A master’s degree in Engineering or Business
Experience in sourcing or procurement (0-5 years)
Understanding of supplier relationship management
Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
A Master in Purchasing is desirable
Ability to work in a matrix environment
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
Results-oriented with a rigorous and structured approach
An international mindset
Fluency in English
