The role

In this exciting role, as a Buyer you will be part of the team responsible for managing supply chain activities across the procurement function, with a focus on quality, delivery timelines, cost efficiency, risk management, and logistics.

You will represent the Procurement Department, ensuring alignment and consistency between operational needs and procurement processes across the organization.

Key accountabilities

  • Negotiate, contract, and purchase materials and services in line with company requirements and budget objectives
  • Ensure all technical and commercial specifications are clearly communicated and incorporated into supplier negotiations
  • Analyze commercial terms and conditions to support procurement strategy and risk management
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers capable of meeting cost, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Coordinate tendering, supplier evaluation, and negotiation processes in accordance with procurement strategies and company policies
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders throughout the procurement process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure service quality, supply continuity, and commercial performance
  • Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate documentation to ensure transparency and stakeholder alignment
  • Ensure on-time, cost-effective, and quality delivery of products and services

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant professional experience in the supply chain/purchasing field - is an advantage
  • Excellent negotiation skills in dealing with suppliers
  • Knowledge of strategic procurement
  • Experience working with an ERP system (preferably SAP)
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office; PowerBI - would be an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of English - written and spoken
  • Good analytical skills, high commitment and flexibility
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external stakeholders
