An international manufacturer is seeking aBuyer to join their Supply Chain team in Greenville, SC.
This role will focus on supplier coordination, procurementexecution, and costoptimizationacrossengineeredcomponents in a fast-paced, global manufacturingenvironment
Key Responsibilities
Support sourcingstrategyacrossexisting and newsuppliers, products, and engineeringchanges
Manage SAP item masterdata, purchaseorders, and supplier setup
Execute RFQs, pricing negotiations, and contractdiscussions
Drive costreduction initiatives and BOM savingsprojects
Monitor and improvesupplier on-time delivery and capacity
Support New ProductIntroduction (NPI) and engineeringchanges
Coordinatecloselywith Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external suppliers
Assist withimportexport and customs-relatedprocurementactivities
Qualifications
Bachelor’sdegree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, orrelatedfield
1+ yearofexperience in manufacturingprocurementorsourcing
Experience purchasingengineeredortechnicalcomponents
Strong understandingofERP systems (SAP preferred)
Experience withnegotiation, supplier management, and costanalysis
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
Strong organizational skillswiththeabilityto manage multiple priorities
