As a Buyer at Star Services LLC, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services necessary for our operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our company has the necessary resources to meet our clients' needs and maintain our high standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs and requirements
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Monitor and track supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in market conditions that may impact purchasing decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with procurement software
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
