Our client, nestled in the heart of Bury, is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a talented Buyer to join their finance team. • Salary £50,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience; higher levels will be considered).
• Flexible Hours 40 hours per week - Flexi options available 7.00am - 10.00am starts available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Preparation: Craft compelling tenders and presentations that showcase our capabilities.
• Materials Procurement: Efficiently order materials for our skilled installers.
• Supplier Collaboration: Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
• Client Interaction: Break down client inquiries and specifications, ensuring clarity.
• Material Sourcing: Send out inquiries for all necessary materials.
• Bid Management: Keep a close eye on tender progress and keep our Directors informed.

Skills and Requirements:

• Skills We Value:

  • Sector Experience: Familiarity with the Plumbing/Heating/Domestic sector is advantageous.
  • Tendering Know-How: Previous experience in tendering processes.
  • Negotiation Skills: Adept at securing favourable terms.
  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
