Job Description

  • Welcoming the guests and make them feel at home.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the guest rooms, corridors and heart of the house.
  • Coordinates the high quality and personalized service the Maebaan provide to each guest.
  • Responsible for ensuring all guest requirements and needs are met while maintaining a high level of organization and management.
  • Leads, motivate and continuously develops the Maebaan/Residence team in order to maximise associate productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Arrange and conduct relevant training to ensure quality and standards of service and product are maintained.
  • To supervise and monitor daily Maebaan service situation and activities to ensure proper standards and products are delivered with the standards of service.
  • Conduct regular inspections of all areas responsible to residence rooms and heart of operation.
  • Ensure that all associates comply with the grooming and uniform standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legislated health and safety requirements within the workplace.
  • Conduct duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with Anantara policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service and communication is maintained.
  • To ensure Residence team maintain a tidy, clean and organized Pantry room on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • At least two to five years of experience in hospitality, fine dining, or luxury service is often required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is often a minimum requirement, as it indicates basic communication and organizational skills.
  • Dedicated butler academies or butler training courses can provide specialized knowledge and skills for the role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with guests and staff. A meticulous eye for detail is essential for ensuring luxury standards are met in every aspect of service.
  • Familiarity with formal etiquette, protocol, and international service standards is expected.
  • Good knowledge of fine dining, wine service, and food pairings is a significant advantage.
