Butchery Manager
Location: Timau, Kenya (Relocation Opportunity)
An established meat processing and retail business in Timau, Kenya is seeking an experienced Butchery Manager to oversee its butchery, slaughterhouse and retail operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded leader who is looking to relocate and play a key role in driving operational excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all slaughterhouse and butchery operations
Implement and maintain quality management and product traceability systems
Improve operational efficiency through process and equipment enhancements
Manage and develop staff through training and leadership
Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements
Oversee sales and marketing activities
Drive customer relationship management and business growth
Lead product development and identify new market opportunities
Manage the rollout and expansion of retail outlets
Work with Finance on forecasting and reporting to the Board
Requirements
Proven experience managing a commercial butchery or meat processing operation
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience in operations, quality management and business development
Commercial mindset with excellent organisational skills
Willingness to relocate to Kenya
