We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and reliable person to fill the above position in our busy supermarket.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

We welcome applications from candidates with previous experience working as a Butcher. A trade qualification is necessary and previous experience working in a supermarket Butchery department would be an advantage.

Duties include:

• Preparation of quality butchery goods for retail sale
• Demonstrate a high standard of workmanship
• Be able to work efficiently in a busy team
• Be a good communicator and team player
• Provide excellent customer service
• Comply with our food control plan and health and safety programme.

The successful applicant must:

• Have previous experience working in a Butchery and food preparation
• Butchery Trade Qualification
• Present a passion for butchery and be self-motivated
• Demonstrate excellence in customer service
• Show strong attention to detail
• Be able to work in a team and independently
