Join our team as a Restaurant Busser at the scenic Morada Bay Beach Cafe. In this role, you'll be essential in maintaining the restaurant's ambiance and efficiency, ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment.

Job Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Warmly greet guests, enhancing their initial impression of the restaurant.
• Clear tables efficiently, removing tableware, napkins, and refuse, and wiping down tables and chairs.
• Ensure tables are reset quickly and to the highest standards, ready for new guests.
• Manage bus stations, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and orderly.
• Distribute cleaned dishes, glassware, and utensils to service stations.
• Polish glassware and silverware, and inspect for cleanliness and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including floors and service areas.
• Retrieve and fold linens, maintaining appropriate stock levels at service stations.
• Adhere to Board of Health standards for cleanliness.
• Participate in team briefings, presenting a professional appearance.
• Uphold a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Respond positively to guest inquiries and assist in resolving any issues.

Training

• Complete training on safe lifting procedures, bloodborne pathogens, food safety, and slip/trip/fall prevention in food prep and service areas.

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Skills and Experience (Essential)

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be able to speak, read and write English and have basic food/beverage knowledge

• Communication in other languages is helpful
• Must be able to work well under pressure while retaining tact and composure when dealing with upset guests
