The Role:
You will have the opportunity to bepart ofa very specialteam for Live Nation’snewestCanadian venue, HISTORY Ottawa.A state-of-the-artvenuewith a capacity of up to 2000hostingover 180 concerts and private events annually.If you are ready to be a part of Ottawa’s most memorable and historic shows,this role might be for you!
Responsibilities:
Ensuring theserversand the kitchen areconsistently up toappropriate standardsfor flawless execution
Run food accurately to tables in a seamless, gracious manner
Stay informed of current menu items and descriptions
Keep floor neat,cleanand free of food,trashand other obstacles throughout shift
Focus on the cleanliness and sanitation of the space, including but not limitedto:storage areas, garbagespacesand other working spaces
Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safeand cleanenvironment
Ensure all kitchen utensils are organized and stocked for efficient use and access
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Create anatmospherewhere coworkers are connected andcommittedthrough seamless communicationand the willingness to help others win
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience as a busseror similar role in a high-volume environmentan asset, but notrequired
Ability to carry 2 or more plates around venue and comfortable carrying them up stairs
Takes great initiative andis able toanticipatethe needs of servers and kitchen staff
Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending forlong periodsof time
Liaiseswith F&B management team on par levels and various other food and beverage needs
A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays asrequired

The expected compensation for this position in Ontariois: $18.55 per hour.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
