As a Busser at Villa Restaurant Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and organized dining environment for our Guests. Your responsibilities will include clearing tables, resetting them, and assisting with other tasks to support the seamless operation of the restaurant.

What You’ll Do:

  • Table Clearing: Clear and reset tables promptly after Guests have finished their meals, ensuring that the dining area remains clean and ready for new guests.
  • Table Setting: Set tables with clean utensils, glassware, and napkins, following established restaurant standards for table setup.
  • Assistance to Servers: Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or appetizers to tables, and helping with any Guest requests.
  • Dish Removal: Collect used dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables and transport them to the dishwashing area.
  • Sanitation: Ensure that dining surfaces, chairs, and floors are clean and free of debris. Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Assist in Food Delivery: Help food runners by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate tables and ensuring that they are presented neatly.
  • Assist in Stocking: Assist in restocking condiments, beverages, and other necessary items in the dining area.
  • Guest Interaction: Be attentive to Guest needs and respond courteously to their requests or questions.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with restaurant Team Members, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff, to provide efficient and seamless service.
  • Support: Assist with other duties as needed to support the overall operation of the restaurant.

What You’ll Need:

  • Previous experience as a busser in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to assist both Guests and Team Members.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Lifting and carrying trays, bus tubs, or other items as needed.
  • Bending, stooping, and reaching.
