Job Description

Refills, sets/resets, stocks, clears and cleans dishes, glassware, silverware, linens, salt and pepper shakers, condiments, beverages, napkin holders, ice buckets, areas around tables/hutches and all other related supplies.

• Adhere to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines and policies at all times

• Promote positive co-worker and guest interactions, maintain professionalism at all times while working with other employees, departments and guests • Maintain establish company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards at all times

• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free environment within area of responsibility

• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

• Completes all established set-up, stocking and closing duties on time

• Knows and adhere to health and sanitation guidelines at all times

• Knows and adheres to food and beverage policy and procedures

• Demonstrates a courteous, friendly, polite, and congenial and efficient attitude

• Must maintain an adequate supply of fresh linens, china, silver, glassware, and other food service accessories; delivering food and beverage in a efficient manner; providing truly great service for our guests by anticipating needs and delivering friendly service with a smile

• Clears, clean and resets tables according to procedures

• Cleans area under and around tables and hutches

• Responsible for setting tables for food servers

• Removing dirty room service carts and dishes from guest rooms and hallways

• Maintaining breakdown area

• Restocking silverware, plates, linen, condiments, and beverages

• Dressing tables, folding napkins, refilling ice buckets

• Bussing tables and trays from guest rooms or hallways

• Good customer service and communication skills

• Adheres to state liquor laws

• Relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate supervisor

• Performs all relative miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor/manager

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for eight hours

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp

• Repeated bending and lifting

• Work areas could have high volumes, diverse clientele, noise, music, minimal lighting, bright lighting and smoky conditions

• Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to handle all types of guest related situations
