About the job:
We are seeking for a qualified Business/Data Analyst to join our Data Analysis Team.
As a Business / Data Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between Business Units and the Data Analysis function, translating business needs into data-driven solutions. You will contribute to the analysis, design, and delivery of data and reporting capabilities, ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives. The role involves active participation in data warehouse initiatives, reporting enhancements, and Business Intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with Business Units to identify, analyze, and document requirements related to business data and reporting.
· Analyze requirements and prepare detailed specifications for data elements, information flows, and reports sourced from the Bank’s Data Warehouse.
· Configure and parameterize data structures and reporting components in line with business and technical requirements.
· Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of delivered results.
· Design and implement initiatives to ensure data quality, consistency, and completeness, including validation checks and controls.
· Perform ongoing data validation and reconciliation checks to ensure the integrity of produced outputs.
· Prepare specifications for new data enhancements or updates to existing data structures, aiming to optimize the content and usability of data repositories.
· Analyze requirements and support the visualization of data through Business Intelligence tools (e.g., dashboards and reports).
· Define and document specifications for the calculation and monitoring of (KPIs).
· Perform operations and configuration management in centralized databases (Risk & Finance repository); monitor performance/efficiency and recommend improvements.
· Support testing processes and contribute to the successful delivery of data and reporting solutions.
· Team player showing flexibility and adaptability to Change; ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
· Inquiring and innovative spirit seeking to take initiatives, investigating the causes of an issue and recommending changes for improvement.
· Ability to communicate with people of diverse backgrounds in the context of cross functional teams.
Requirements
Qualifications
· Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field (BSc, MSc)
· 3-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, or related roles, preferably in the banking sector with preference in credit risk and regulatory requirements.
· Proven hands-on experience with data management and analytics tools such as SQL Server, Power BI and Copilot.
· Good understanding of banking products, operations, and information systems, will be valued
· Strong command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
· Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
