Job Description

Main Purpose

The UAP Manager is responsible for the overall management of the production unit, ensuring industrial performance while meeting quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives.

The role involves leading operational teams and coordinating production activities within highly demanding automotive and aerospace environments.

Main Responsibilities

• 
  Lead and manage all UAP activities to achieve production, quality, safety, cost, and delivery targets.
• 
  Manage production, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.
• 
  Define, monitor, and analyze industrial performance indicators (KPIs).
• 
  Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, problem solving).
• 
  Ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards in the automotive and aerospace industries.
• 
  Supervise foundry processes and optimize technical and industrial performance.
• 
  Participate in budget preparation, production cost monitoring, and profitability improvement initiatives.
• 
  Coordinate activities between production, methods, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and management departments.
• 
  Support industrialization projects and new product development activities.
• 
  Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations.

Required Profile

• 
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 
  Minimum 8 to 9 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• 
  Mandatory experience in automotive and aerospace industries.
• 
  Strong knowledge of foundry/manufacturing processes.
• 
  Proven experience in team management and production leadership.
• 
  Good knowledge of continuous improvement and industrial performance tools.
• 
  Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  Leadership mindset, rigor, and results-oriented approach.
• 
  Good command of English and French.
