Your Role

As Business Unit Manager – Dell Technologies, you will be responsible for defining and executing the growth strategy of the Dell business within Ingram Micro Italy. You will own the overall business performance, drive revenue and profitability targets, strengthen the partnership with Dell Technologies and lead cross-functional teams to accelerate market expansion and partner success.

This position requires strong commercial leadership, strategic thinking, vendor management expertise and a deep understanding of the IT channel ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the Dell Technologies business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Own and manage the Business Unit P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, investment planning, and performance tracking.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Dell Technologies stakeholders to drive joint business initiatives and long-term growth.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Presales, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities, growth areas, and market trends to expand Dell's footprint within the Italian channel ecosystem.
  • Lead partner development initiatives, enabling resellers and system integrators to grow their Dell business through Ingram Micro.
  • Drive business reviews, pipeline management, forecasting activities, and performance analysis to ensure achievement of targets.
  • Manage vendor-funded programs, rebates, incentives, and marketing investments to maximize return on investment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Dell Business Unit team, fostering a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and business owner for Dell Technologies within Ingram Micro Italy.

What We're Looking For

  • Significant experience in Business Unit Management, Vendor Management, Sales Leadership, Channel Management, or Business Development within the IT industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the IT distribution and channel ecosystem.
  • Previous experience working with Dell Technologies or comparable infrastructure and enterprise technology vendors is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability improvement, and successful business expansion.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasts, business planning, and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Results-oriented mindset with strong customer and partner focus.
  • Fluency in English.

Compensation & Pay Transparency

Ingram Micro is committed to fair, transparent, and equitable compensation practices, in line with applicable EU and Italian regulations, including Directive (EU) 2023/970 and D.Lgs. 96/2026

Minimum salary range: Annual gross salary (RAL) EUR 55,000

The final compensation package will be determined based on objective criteria, including:

  • Relevant professional experience and skills;
  • Certifications and technical expertise;
  • Scope and responsibilities of the role;
  • Internal equity and market benchmarks.

Additional compensation components and benefits may include:

  • Meal vouchers;
  • Welfare and insurance programs linked to the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement;
  • Participation in company incentive plans, where applicable;
  • Company car.

Compensation and grading will be aligned with the applicable National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Commercio) and are subject to periodic review based on performance and business needs.
