Minimum experience : 10 years Work pattern : 100% on site Full time role - No remote work possibility due to security reasons Languages : English (mandatory), French and German are a real plus Your manager : the R&D Director Your team : RFID deparlment composed of Designers and Projects managers Visa requirements : Right to work in Switzerland or at least a UE/AELE passport to be able to apply for a work permit application required The employer is seeking a visionary Business Unit Leader to define and drive the strategy, growth, and profitability of their RFID Business Unit. This role combines business leadership, product strategy, customer engagement, and innovation to strengthen the company’s leadership position and expand the adoption of RFID technologies across existing and emerging markets. You will intervene at the very start of the project to define the architecture, the specifications and design teams will base their work on. MISSIONS Own full P&L responsibility (revenue, margins, cost structure, and investment decisions) of the RFID Business Unit Define and execute the RFID Business Unit strategy with full ownership of growth, profitability, and market leadership Define and manage budgets, forecasts, and investment priorities to maximize return on innovation and product development Drive product roadmap, portfolio management, and new product introductions aligned with market needs Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Represent the company in key industry bodies (e.g., RAIN Alliance) and strengthen its leadership within the RFID ecosystem Drive business development, strategic account engagement, and ecosystem partnerships in close collaboration with the Sales organization Monitor market trends, competition, and emerging applications to identify new business opportunities Lead the RFID Business Unit organization, including product management and RFID engineering, while fostering strong collaboration with Sales, Operations, and other key functions Define clear performance metrics (KPIs/OKRs) and drive a results-oriented culture Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence Requirements Professional Profile Strong sense of ownership and accountability with the ability to drive results in a matrix organization Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and strong execution capabilities Strong financial acumen with proven ownership of revenue and profitability Deep understanding of RFID technologies, applications, and market dynamics Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Customer-focused, collaborative, and able to influence at all levels of the organization Willingness to relocate to Neuchâtel, Switzerland Professional Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor, RFID, connectivity, or related technology markets Proven experience in business unit management, product management, marketing, or business development Demonstrated success in driving profitable growth and managing cross-functional teams Strong network within the RFID and broader IoT ecosystem Linguistic Requirements Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory French and/or German are a plus The ability to communicate in French is highly valued.
