Job Description

We are looking for a Business Unit Head HIV to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity allowing you to lead our HIV business in Finland, shaping strategy, driving commercial performance, and building strong partnerships. You will work across medical, market access, commercial, and operations teams to deliver patient-focused solutions. In this role you will

  • Set and deliver the local commercial strategy for HIV to achieve business targets and patient access goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated execution across medical affairs, market access, supply and customer engagement.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers and patient groups to understand needs and improve outcomes.
  • Use data and market insights to guide decision-making and to identify growth and access opportunities.
  • Manage budget, forecasting, and performance metrics to ensure efficient resource use and clear accountability.
  • Coach and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • University degree in life sciences, business, pharmacy or related field.
  • Proven experience leading a commercial or therapeutic area business unit in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
  • First line sales manager experience
  • Strong knowledge of the HIV treatment landscape and stakeholder environment in Finland.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and access targets.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and payers.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams and adapting global strategy to local needs.
  • Background in market access, health economics or policy engagement in Finland or Nordics.
  • Experience managing change and driving transformation in a commercial organization.
  • Experience with patient engagement programs or collaboration with patient organisations.
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and talent development.
  • Knowledge of digital tools for commercial analytics and customer engagement.

Working Style and Location

This role is based in Finland and will follow a hybrid working model. You should be comfortable working both on-site and remotely. Travel within Finland and occasional travel to Nordic and global meetings may be required.
