Job Description

As a Business Travel Immigration Manager, you will manage complex business immigration matters in Mexico, providing guidance to clients while overseeing case delivery and supporting junior team members. You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to identify appropriate immigration solutions, manage escalations, and ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Manage multiple complex business immigration engagements and provide guidance to clients on immigration matters in Mexico.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with clients, addressing queries, identifying appropriate immigration options, and managing client relationships.
• Analyze complex immigration matters using multiple sources of information, stakeholder perspectives, data, and insights to develop practical recommendations and solutions.
• Manage complex case matters, issues, and escalations while coordinating with relevant stakeholders to achieve appropriate outcomes.
• Manage and support caseworkers and junior attorneys in case management and the application of immigration law.
• Review immigration applications and work completed by junior team members and provide final sign-off prior to submission.
• Communicate complex matters clearly, monitor relevant global and immigration trends, and uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of immigration-related experience in Mexico, preferably within business or corporate immigration.
• Experience managing complex immigration matters and providing guidance and recommendations to clients.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and manage client expectations.
• Experience reviewing immigration applications and overseeing or supporting the work of junior team members.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex immigration matters.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve complex case issues and escalations, and work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Exposure to AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, support data-driven insights, and drive innovative solutions in a global service environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a related field.

Additional Information

• This is a hybrid role based in Mexico City.
• Anticipated salary: MXN $40,000 monthly + 15% English bonus.
