Are you looking for a Graduate Programme with real impact and international opportunities? Join us at RWE and help shape the strategic backbone of our global operations. Our Business Transformation & Strategy Graduate Programme is designed to give you broad exposure to the functions that drive business growth and long-term success. Your journey will begin in Swindon, UK, with the opportunity to rotate to other locations such as London, Essen (Germany), Singapore, or the further afield.

Across four six-month rotations, you’ll work in diverse areas such as:

• Project Management
• Strategy
• Communications & Events
• Business Transformation
• Sustainability
• Risk Management
• New Business Implementation
• Compliance
• Back Office Functions

Digital technologies, including AI-enabled tools, are becoming an integral part of how we work at RWE. Throughout the programme, you will have opportunities to use these tools responsibly to enhance productivity, support decision-making, foster innovation and improve ways of working, always in line with RWE policies and responsible use principles.

Job requirements and experience

Want to learn and grow alongside experienced experts? Excited to explore new markets with a commercial business that is expanding on a global scale? We’re looking for ambitious Graduates who want to make an impact in corporate functions. To succeed, you’ll bring:

• A strong degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance or similar discipline.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• IT proficiency as well as digital skills (e.g. automation, usage of different AI tools).
• A collaborative, curious mindset with a drive to find new solutions.
• Commercial aptitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly.
• Flexibility and mobility to travel internationally.
• Motivation to take on challenges, both independently and as part of a team.

This programme is designed for those who want to shape the business from a strategic support perspective, not for those looking to return to operational areas.

Alongside job rotations and technical training, you’ll be provided with comprehensive behavioural skills training with our expert partner, Cappfinity. This will enable you to harness your strengths from day one and identify new ways to utilise the key Skills That Build Skills. This will support you to reach your potential and goals, shaping your career path. The behavioural skills training is immersive, including interactive sessions where you can learn from our facilitators and your own peers, and self-led elements to support your application of learning back in your day-to-day role.

Our graduate programmes have been designed to give you the chance to shape your own career path and personal development, with the support you need to succeed. You’ll have access to a graduate buddy and a senior mentor within your field who can advise you on rotations and introduce you to key people within the business.
