Product Owner – Loan Origination System (Regional Platform)

Why Join

Imagine being at the forefront of transforming the lending experience across multiple markets. As a Product Owner for the Loan Origination System, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering origination capabilities for both secured and unsecured lending products. Working with local and regional stakeholders, you will drive the evolution of a strategic origination platform that enables business growth, operational efficiency, and superior customer experiences.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex transformation initiatives, influence product strategy, and deliver meaningful business outcomes while working across business, credit, operations, risk, technology, and regional platform teams.

How You Succeed

To succeed in this role, you will need to combine strong product ownership, lending domain expertise, and delivery leadership. You will be able to translate business and credit requirements into scalable platform capabilities, balance local market needs with regional platform standards, and drive successful delivery from concept through production and adoption.

You will be comfortable operating in a complex stakeholder environment, managing competing priorities, navigating dependencies, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable business value while maintaining platform integrity.

What You Do

End-to-End Product & Delivery Ownership

  • Own end-to-end delivery from business and credit requirements through user journeys, UI design, build, testing, release, post-production stabilisation, and business adoption.

  • Own the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment to business priorities, regulatory requirements, and regional platform constraints.

  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives, customer experience expectations, credit policy, and operational requirements.

Regional Platform & Product Alignment

  • Align local requirements to the regional loan origination platform strategy and roadmap.

  • Maximise reuse of regional capabilities while minimising local customisation and fragmentation.

  • Balance local business needs with regional standardisation without compromising platform integrity or scalability.

Requirements, Journey & Experience Design

  • Translate business and credit requirements into clear, prioritised epics, features, and user stories.

  • Define and optimise end-to-end customer and operational journeys across secured and unsecured lending products.

  • Ensure user journeys, workflows, decisioning, and UI experiences are intuitive, compliant, and aligned to regional standards.

Delivery Execution & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and manage delivery plans, milestones, releases, dependencies, risks, and status reporting across local and regional teams.

  • Drive change readiness, training, rollout activities, and post-go-live support to ensure smooth business adoption.

  • Act as the primary interface across business, credit, risk, operations, regional platform, and technology teams, driving timely decisions and issue resolution.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner delivering loan origination or lending platforms within the financial services industry.

  • Strong domain knowledge of secured and unsecured lending products, including credit assessment, eligibility, approval, and fulfilment workflows.

  • Experience delivering solutions on regional or multi-market platforms, balancing local business requirements with regional standardisation.

  • Strong delivery and project management capabilities, including planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder reporting.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across business and technology teams.

  • Experience operating in regulated financial services environments with strong awareness of governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
