What You'll Do:The Office of Budget and Management is seeking a skilled leader to oversee critical functions within the PeopleSoft Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS) Financials environment on the RACM team. This role leads a team of Senior Business Transformation Analysts and ensures the successful management, integration, and enhancement of key OAKS Financials modules. The ideal candidate is a CPA and brings strong project leadership, technical proficiency, and a commitment to continuous improvement in statewide financial operations.Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the PeopleSoft Functional team for the OAKS Financials General Ledger (GL) and Commitment Control (KK) modules and the Oracle Cloud Budget & Planning system.Serve as General Ledger lead, ensuring accurate account lines, providing guidance on ledger adjustments, overseeing the posting of agency budgets, and reconciling funds.Manage key PeopleSoft configurations, including Business Unit setup, combo edits, Chartfield configuration, manage Chartfield trees, Allocations, and Control and Track Budget structures.Provide production support for the GL and KK modules, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.Define and analyze functional requirements, create functional design and configuration documentation, and assess level of effort, risks, training needs, and testing requirements.Develop and manage comprehensive test plans and scenarios for complex technical changes.Oversee fiscal year end close activities for GL and KK, including budget posting, clearing liabilities, revenue close, budget close, and PO rollover.We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. Completion of undergraduate core coursework in business administration, public administration, information systems, engineering or comparable field; 3 years experience in business process transformation, organizational design, strategic human capital management &/or business process reengineering; 18 months experience in software design &/or development commensurate with position to be filled; 6 months training or 6 months experience in supervisory principles/techniques.
