This London-based role reports directly to the Chief Business Technology Officer and works closely with the team. It is a newly created opportunity for someone who takes pride in making people confident and capable in the platforms they use every day.

You will lead the delivery of training across the business while also building structured training plans and materials from the ground up; a training function with real depth, proper materials, and a smart approach to meeting people where they are. Supporting onboarding and ongoing capability, you will play a key role in embedding core systems, including Salesforce and evolving placement technologies.

Ours is a relationship-driven, face-to-face culture. People here respond to someone they know and trust — so presence matters. You'll be visible on the floor, known across the business, and comfortable walking up to a senior broker to help them work through something. At the same time, you'll extend that same quality of service to colleagues in our US and Bermuda offices, delivering virtually and — when it counts — in person.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality induction training for all new joiners, blending one-to-one desk-side sessions with group formats — whichever gets the best result
  • Run targeted refresher sessions, proactively identifying gaps and responding to system updates
  • Deliver virtual training across global teams, including the US and Bermuda, adapting delivery to work across time zones and without the benefit of being in the room
  • Travelling occasionally to our global offices when a topic, a cohort, or a moment calls for it
  • Building and maintaining a library of training materials: guides, quick-reference cards, video walkthroughs, and whatever else actually works for our people
  • Partner closely with Business Technology and system SMEs to stay aligned with platform changes and rollouts
  • Translate system updates into clear, practical training before they impact users
  • Assess training needs across the business and tailor delivery to different audiences
  • Establish feedback loops to continuously improve training effectiveness


Candidate Profile

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering end-user or business systems training, ideally including Salesforce
  • Previous experience within (re)insurance or the London Market, with an understanding of placement workflows and broker environments
  • Ability to quickly learn and train on additional platforms, such as OpenTwins or other placement technologies
  • Experience building training plans, content, and materials from scratch
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills — confident working with individuals at all levels, including senior brokers and Executives
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style across different audiences
  • Equally effective delivering training in person and virtually across global teams
  • Technically curious, with the ability to understand new systems and translate them into practical user training
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Highly organised and self-sufficient, able to manage competing priorities
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion
