ACCOUNTABILITY LEVEL:

The Business Technology Delivery Manager – Commercial & Marketing, LATAM is accountable for assessing, guiding, and advancing the digital maturity of Commercial and Marketing organizations across LATAM

This role partners with Commercial and Marketing leaders to understand business goals, capabilities, and current ways of working, perform structured digital maturity assessments, and translate those insights into prioritized digital initiatives and products that improve how value is delivered to the business.

Rather than focusing only on technology delivery, the role is accountable for evolving the Commercial and Marketing operating model enabled by technology—including processes, data usage, digital channels, customer experience, and decision-making—ensuring that investments lead to measurable business outcomes such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, margin improvement, and speed-to-market.

The role acts as a strategic delivery leader and value advisor, orchestrating discussions, shaping roadmaps, and driving execution through digital products and programs while operating within global IT standards, platforms, and governance.

SCOPE

Commercial & Marketing Digital Maturity & Value Enablement

Covers regional Commercial and Marketing capabilities including:

  • Sales & Distribution effectiveness
  • Marketing & campaign execution
  • Customer Experience (CX)
  • B2B / B2C digital channels
  • Pricing, promotions, and trade effectiveness
  • Commercial insights, analytics, and decision support

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Digital Maturity Assessment & Value Discovery

  • Lead structured digital maturity assessments with Commercial and Marketing teams to understand:
    • Process maturity
    • Technology enablement
    • Data, analytics & AI usage
    • Customer experience capabilities
    • Organizational readiness and ways of working
  • Identify gaps, constraints, and value opportunities across the end-to-end commercial lifecycle.
  • Facilitate value-focused discussions with business leaders to shift conversations from “systems” to business outcomes and impact

2. Digital Roadmap & Initiative Shaping

  • Translate maturity assessment outcomes into clear digital roadmaps aligned to:
    • Business strategy
    • Revenue and growth priorities
    • Customer and channel needs
  • Shape and frame initiatives such as digital products or value streams, not isolated projects.
  • Support creation of business cases, value hypotheses, and investment rationale
  • Help business leaders prioritize initiatives based on value, effort, and readiness

3. Delivery Orchestration & Execution

  • Orchestrate the delivery of Commercial & Marketing digital initiatives across LATAM in partnership with:
    • Global product teams
    • Platform owners (SAP, CRM, Digital, Data)
    • External vendors
  • Ensure alignment between:
    • Business expectations
    • Delivery capacity
    • Architectural and security standards
  • Own regional delivery outcomes, including readiness, adoption, and stabilization.

4. Digital Product & Capability Enablement

  • Drive adoption and evolution of digital products improve how Commercial and Marketing operate.
  • Ensure solutions are:
    • Business-relevant
    • Scalable and sustainable
    • Properly adopted by users
  • Ensure strong change management, training, and value realization tracking

5. Value Realization & Continuous Maturity Improvement

  • Partner with business to define success metrics and KPIs tied to value delivery.
  • Track realized value vs. expected value and drive corrective actions.
  • Continuously reassess maturity and refresh roadmaps as business needs evolve.
  • Act as a catalyst for continuous digital improvement, not one-time transformation.

6. Leadership, Collaboration & Influence

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior Commercial and Marketing leaders.
  • Influence without direct authority in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Collaborate closely with other IT delivery managers, product teams, and platform leaders.
  • Lead and develop a delivery-focused regional team and delivery partners.

  • Strong business-facing and value-oriented leader
  • Comfortable facilitating executive conversations on maturity, trade-offs, and value
  • Pragmatic, outcome-focused, and execution-driven
  • Able to connect strategy, operating model, and technology
  • Champions a product and value mindset over project execution

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Information Technology, Business, or related field
  • 10+ years enabling Commercial and/or Marketing functions through technology
  • 5+ years leading delivery, transformation, or digital programs
  • Proven experience with:
    • Digital maturity assessments
    • Business capability modeling
    • Commercial digital platforms (CRM, digital channels, analytics, SAP SD)
  • Experience operating in product-based delivery models
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • LATAM regional experience preferred
  • English required; Spanish/Portuguese preferred
