The Business Systems and Intelligence Specialist understand the stem, processes, and impact to the projects and business objectives. He/She identifies business process improvements and ensures that the recommendation and developed solutions meet business net and requirements.


KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write concept papers for purposes of automation of processes while embedding policies and control.
• Conducts business process review and re-engineering (BPR) to simplify the process without sacrificing controls.
• Employs techniques such as CAATS- computer-assisted audit techniques in testing computerization processes, during the system development phase, during or before user acceptance testing (UAT) steps.
• Ensure accounting/control's best practices are being observed and followed.
• Ensures databases are always clean and that departments are taking responsibility for maintaining reliable databases so that information required by Management can be generated accurately for timely decision making.
• SAP re-implementation (or any system to be implemented in Finance and Controllership)
• Completes ad hoc financial projects as requested by management.
