Job Description

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps, expanders, heat exchangers, process systems, services, and solutions for the liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquid hydrogen (LH2), and industrial gases industries. Applications include aerospace engines, carbon capture, fueling stations, geothermal power, marine engines, peak shaving, power generation, specialty gases, virtual pipelines, and well stimulation. The Business Systems Analyst will leverage their analytical thinking to develop, implement, and maintain dashboards using Power BI and other analytical tools for presentations and analysis, primarily supporting the needs of the corporate leadership team. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, and creating insightful visualizations to support business decision-making processes. The role will also involve providing assistance to the senior management in implementing measures for improving operational efficiency.

Annual Salary: $77,070 to $138,765

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to create meaningful visualizations.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
  • Present findings and dashboards in Business Board Meetings (BBM).
  • Document all processes, designs, and methodologies used in the creation of dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate and cooperate with other Power BI specialists throughout the Global CEIG Group.
  • Identify process gaps in operations through data analysis and co-ordinate with respective departments to improve operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience required is between 4 to 6 years.
  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
