  • Support testing activities by ensuring requirements are fully validated through test scenarios, test cases and quality assurance activities.
  • Identify and manage requirements-related risks, issues and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and solution objectives.
  • Document, analyse and communicate current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Support business users with the investigation and resolution of complex application and system issues.
  • Collaborate effectively with third-party vendors and software suppliers where required.
  • Maintain knowledge of business analysis best practices, industry standards and emerging technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes, templates and documentation standards.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience producing user stories, process maps, workflow diagrams, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Strong customer focus with experience supporting business users and operational teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working with data-driven applications, reporting solutions and system integrations.
  • Working knowledge and capabilities in SQL Server, data analysis and database concepts.
  • Understanding of usability, accessibility and user experience best practices.
  • Experience working with third-party software providers and external suppliers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically 3-5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis or a similar role within an application development environment.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams and software development projects.
  • Professional Business Analysis certifications (IIBA, BCS or Agile-related qualifications) are advantageous but not essential.
